Palliative Care Job at Tidalhealth in Salisbury, MD

TidalHealth is seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Hospice and Palliative Care team. This role provides care for patients with serious or life-limiting illnesses  across inpatient and outpatient settings, while also mentoring residents and fellows.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver expert symptom management and individualized care plans

• Guide patients and families through goals-of-care discussions and advance directives

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless, holistic care

• Educate residents, fellows, and team members in palliative principles

• Support patients and families with empathy, even in challenging situations

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed NP in Maryland (or eligible  at hire)

• Experience in hospice/palliative care preferred

• Strong communication skills and calm, empathetic presence

• Ability to manage complex care and family dynamics

• Flexibility to work across inpatient/outpatient settings and multiple locations

Base salary range: $123,500-$146,500 (commensurate with experience). Eligible for productivity and quality incentives.
