Indiana University Health, the largest and most comprehensive healthcare system in Indiana, is seekingan Advanced Practice ProviderHospitalistto join our team at the Academic Health Center in downtown Indianapolis! The Hospitalist team is seeking a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider to join our Internal Medicine Hospitalist Service Line at IUHMG. This Full-Time NIGHT position offers the opportunity to provide care to a complex patient population within an academic medical center, while gaining experience across diverse practice settings. We are looking for an APP with 1-2 years of clinical experience who is passionate about hospital medicine and committed to delivering high- quality care. The role offers a collaborative and nurturing environment, working closely with physicians and fellow APP's wo support professional growth and foster teamwork.

Position Details:

  • Join a well-established, supportive team of physicians and advanced providers at a large academic center
  • Full-time, Nights (312-hour shifts; (shift times are 4p-4a or 6p-6a or 7p-7a)
  • 100% Inpatient
  • Position may flex to Methodist Hospital and also opportunity for additional hours at IU North and IU West.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complex patient population
  • Admission and new consultation evaluations
  • Additional responsibility for cross-cover/acute needs of existing inpatients

Qualifications:

  • Must have ACNP, AGNP FNP or PA
  • 1-2 years of experience preferred
  • Inpatient experience preferred as an NP/PA
  • If NP, would prefer Critical Care nursing experience
