The James A. Haley Veterans’ Hospital, a flagship VA facility located in beautiful Tampa, Florida, is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Physician to join our Spinal Cord Injury & Disorders (SCI/D) Service. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate care to America’s Veterans while enjoying the benefits of federal employment.

Position Highlights:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care to Veterans with spinal cord injuries and disorders.

• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team that includes rehabilitation, nursing, therapy, psychology, and social work.

• Opportunities for teaching medical students, residents, and fellows through our strong academic affiliations with the University of South Florida (USF) Morsani College of Medicine.

• Participation in clinical research encouraged and supported.

• Monday–Friday schedule with shared call responsibilities.

Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution

• Board Certification/Eligibility in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, or Neurology (with SCI fellowship preferred)

• Unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory
