The Department of Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking BE/BC Emergency Medicine Nocturnist physicians to join our expanding and thriving Regional Team in Middle Tennessee. We are looking for highly motivated, patient-centered, and team-oriented clinicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality care in a community setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care at Vanderbilt’s regional hospitals, including Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital (VTHH), Vanderbilt Bedford Hospital (VBH), and Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital (VWCH)
- Clinical effort is based on 1440 hours annually (120 hours/month)
- Collaborate with Vanderbilt University Medical Center specialists for streamlined patient transfers and continuity of care
- Engage in professional development and educational opportunities available to all VUMC faculty
Qualifications
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Emergency Medicine
- Strong clinical skills and commitment to patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Interest in community-based emergency medicine
- Ability to work night shift schedule
