Qualifications
  • MD or DO Degree and Active Board Certification
  • Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
  • Completed ACGME Residency training with current ABMS Board Certification
  • Must have previous Academic Medicine/GME experience working with medical students and/or resident physicians
  • Is a team-oriented provider that is passionate about making the healing presence of God known in our world by improving the health of the people we serve, especially those who are vulnerable, while we advance social justice for all

Overview
Internal Medicine Clinical Faculty Physician

Dignity Health Medical Group - Arizona is actively seeking a highly patient-centric Academic, Ambulatory Internal Medicine Physician to support our Internal Medicine Residency Program in the East Valley. Our Internal Medicine Residency Program is led by a highly-experienced Program Director who has successfully established other residency programs and is the ACP-Arizona Governor.

  • 100% outpatient
  • 80-90% Clinical Practice and Resident/Student Precepting, 10-20% Teaching
  • Geriatrician (IM or FM) or Osteopathic Physician with OMT skills are preferred, however not required
  • Opportunity for academic appointment through Creighton University
  • Chance to practice in a state-of-the-art outpatient center

The position consists of outpatient responsibilities within a single clinic location close to the hospital campus. You will have access to full support staff. The medical group is a multi-specialty group that includes specialists in primary care, pulmonary medicine, endocrinology, palliative care, cardiology, infectious disease, gastroenterology, and other surgical specialties. You will enjoy a great work-life balance in a rapidly growing city.

Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties.
