As an Advanced Practice Provider in our Colorectal Center, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.

The Pediatric Colorectal Center at Primary Children's Hospital is seeking an energetic and passionate individual for a full time APP position in our Complex IBD Program. This position will be essential in the surgical and medical management of pediatric and adolescent patients with IBD (Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis). The APP will be responsible for independent patient care, leading an interdisciplinary team, quality improvement, and advocacy. This role is also responsible for program development and executing the strategic plan and vision of the Complex IBD program in partnership with the service line director, operations manager, and medical leadership. We are seeking an APP that is interested in leadership and management of complex chronic conditions in the pediatric and adolescent patient.

The Pediatric Colorectal Center at Primary Children's Hospital cares for children with GI dysmotility, constipation, Hirschsprung's disease, anorectal malformations, and complex IBD. While this role is primarily focused on patients with IBD, there will be opportunities to learn about and help manage patients with other diagnoses. Our colorectal team includes physicians, APPs, psychologists, nurses, dieticians, a child life specialist, social work, and research assistants, working together to provide optimal care to the pediatric and adolescent patient.

As part of that patient care, this position is accountable to deliver optimal patient care through effective clinical practice; education of the patient, patient's family, clinical staff, and others; consultation with other healthcare providers; and maintain current knowledge regarding options for optimal patient care and outcomes.
  • Full Time, schedule will generally be Monday - Friday during regular clinic hours. No weekends, holidays, or nights required.
  • APP will provide care at our Lehi, Utah and Salt Lake City, Utah Primary Children's campuses.

What you'll bring:
  • Utah license as a Physician Assistant (PA) or an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
  • Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Utah State Controlled Substance License
  • Federal DEA Certificate II through V
  • PALS and BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers
  • Prior clinical experience with IBD and pediatric patients is preferred.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$56.76 - $87.59
