Marshfield Medical Center is seeking a Neuropsychologist to join our team in Marshfield, Wisconsin. The Neuropsychologist is responsible for evaluating and diagnosing individuals with neurological and neurobehavioral disorders. Referrals come from a range of primary care providers and medical specialists. We have a busy outpatient practice and also receive inpatient consults from our 298-bed hospital, which includes 34 intensive care beds, a Certified Primary Stroke Center, Level II adult and pediatric trauma teams, and both adult and pediatric subacute rehabilitation units. We are especially interested in a pediatric or lifespan neuropsychologist but will consider applications from neuropsychologists who specialize in adults.
Marshfield Clinic can support a variety of visas, including J1 waivers (location dependent) and H1Bs (cap exempt organization).
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Minimum Required: Ph.D. or PsyD. Psychologist.
Must possess A doctoral degree from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by The Council For Higher Education And Accreditation and meet the American Board of Professional Psychology/ American Board Of Clinical Neuropsychology eligibility requirements in effect at the time the doctoral degree was awarded.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum Required: Must have successfully completed at least one year of fellowship/postdoctoral studies in neuropsychology; ABPP/ABCN Board eligible.
Preferred/Optional: Completion of 2-year fellowship/postdoc; Two to five years of recent work experience in neuropsychology; ABBP/ABCN board certified.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
The following licensure(s), certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to determine if restrictions are substantially related to the position.
Minimum Required: must have current Wisconsin license to practice psychology or be eligible for licensure in Wisconsin.
Preferred/Optional: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification awarded by the American Heart Association (AHA) at time of hire. Otherwise, BLS certification required within three months of hire.
