Job Description

Delphi Healthcare is a Physician’s group out of Rochester, NY. We specialize in rural Hospitalist, Urgent Care and Emergency Medicine. 

Delphi covers malpractice insurance with tail coverage and provides full benefits including a yearly $25,000 FEA stipend for our W2 providers. We are also open to 1099 and will cover housing and travel if needed. We staff full-time, part-time and prn.

None of our sites require procedures!

Ogdensburg, NY 13669 
-T System EMR 
-Open to IM Physicians 
-In-patient Hospitalist program 
-12hr shifts 
-Critical Access Hospital 
-A 9 bed open ICU 
-No procedures required 
-Respiratory Tech onsite 
-Double Physician coverage during the day 
-Averages 20-25 patients per day 
-About 10,000 annual visits a year 
 
Lewis County General Hospital: 
Lowville, NY 13367 
Full time days available 
-Meditech EMR 
-Open to IM and FM Physicians 
-In-patient Hospitalist program 
-24 hour shifts, 12 hours during the day on-site, 12hrs on call at night (off-site)  
-7 days on, 7 days off 
-Averages 14-18 patients per day 
-Nursing home on site - may require light coverage 
-About 5,000 annual visits a year, 1,600 for the nursing home 
 
Massena Memorial Hospital: 
Massena, NY 13662 
Full time Night and Day Hospitalists 
-EPIC EMR 
-Open to IM and FM Physicians 
-In-patient Hospitalist program 
-12hr shifts 
-7 days on, 7 days off 
-A 5 bed open ICU - More like a step down telemetry unit 
-Averages 10 patients per day 
-About 7,000 annual visits a year 
 
Gouverneur Hospital 
Gouverneur NY 13642 
Gouverneur does not have an ICU, lower acuity, see 16-22 patients but it has a 6-8 bed detox unit, 6-8 swing bed patients (only see/write notes on them once a week) and an 8-10 bed inpatient unit. Now, the hospital does require all the Physicians to get privileges to do procedures, however you are not required to do procedures. It is just something that is required for all of their staff. 
-12 hour day shifts, solo coverage 
-APP covers nights 
-No ICU, no required procedures 
-16-22 patients a day total but only 8-10 inpatient beds 
-EMR: Epic 
-About 3,000 annual visits 

Jones Memorial Hospital
Wellsville, NY
-24 hour shifts, 12 hours during the day on-site, 12hrs on call at night (off-site)
-Should be able to do some procedures but not required
-7on, 7 off
-6 bed ICU
-Pulmonologist, general surgery, anesthesia on site
-Volume is 18-22 patients a day total
-12hr APP support during the day
