We are hiring a Critical Care Nocturnist. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

  • At Montefiore Nyack Hospital, our strong, collaborative team includes 4 Intensivists and 2 Critical Care APPs.
  • Within the hospital, we work closely with colleagues in other departments to ensure smooth care transitions.

  • As an award-winning Certified Stroke Center, Nyack Hospital has dedicated specialists and resources to expedite care for stroke patients.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified/eligible in critical care medicine
  • Active New York License and DEA
  • Authorized to work in the United States
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Modified Block Scheduling:

  • 12-hour day shift and 12-hour night shift model
  • Average of 15 shifts per month

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead team of critical care professionals to provide comprehensive medical care to ICU patients as part of the Intensivist team in a 391-bed, Level III trauma center.
  • Value teamwork as part of the larger multi-disciplinary team.

  • Compensation Competitive Shift-Based Compensation with an average annual income of $450,000 to $480,000, based on shifts worked.
