Vanderbilt Health is seeking a general and bariatric surgeon to provide care in Shelbyville and Tullahoma, TN.
Position Highlights:
- Split time between bread & butter general surgery cases and management of medical and surgical weight loss
- Low volume call only 7 days per month
- Steady referral base from Vanderbilt Health & local physicians
- Experienced OR staff and new bariatric equipment
- AI scribe technology in outpatient clinic
- Local autonomy with access to VUMC surgical division resources
Qualifications: MD/DO with bariatrics training and board certification or eligibility in General Surgery with a solid commitment to the Vanderbilt values of innovation, collaboration, and quality.
