Seeking a Gastroenterologist to practice in Fort Worth, Texas

Job Description

Requirements:

  1. MD or DO candidates.
  2. Internal medicine residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program.
  3. Gastroenterology fellowship completion required from an accredited program.
  4. Board certified or board eligible candidates required.
  5. Active Texas license or willingness to obtain.
  6. Seeking experienced candidates who are ready to practice immediately. Target start date is 10/1/25. 

Position Details:

  1. Full-time, employed position with Texas Health Digestive Specialists in Fort Worth, part of Texas Health Physicians Group.
  2. Practice on the campus of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth in the Fort Worth medical district.
  3. This high-volume GI practice will be a group of six (with the new physician) and has six hospital APPs to support GI rounding and 2 in-office APPs to support clinic volumes. The group anticipates continued growth.
  4. Clinic schedule is Monday – Friday, 8AM to 5PM. Hospital call schedule is on rotation with other GI physicians and is expected one week per month among six physicians.
  5. Competitive compensation and benefits will be offered.
  6. Texas is a tort reform state and has no state income tax!
