Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary Behavioral Health team. This full-time, hospital-employed position offers the rewarding opportunity to care for a diverse patient population in a supportive, collaborative environment. The schedule is Monday-Friday, based in a structured outpatient clinic setting, with no inpatient responsibilities. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with a NYS License. • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of psychiatric conditions
• Provide medication management and collaborate on individualized treatment plans
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including therapists, social workers, and primary care providers
• Participate in team meetings and quality improvement initiatives
• Opportunity to see both adult and child/adolescent populations
• Participate in shared call
• Engage in medical education through supervision and teaching of psychiatry residents
• Demonstrate quality in documentation
