Richmond OB/GYN is Hiring a Certified Nurse Midwife!

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Midwife to join our healthcare team. This role is a collaborative midwife practice with a focus on low OBGYN intervention when appropriate. There are five other MD's and three midwives in office seeing approximately 20-30 patients per day Monday through Friday with a half day admin time per week which can be taken out of office. Addition time will be made available to block as needed to allow the ability to deliver own patients, but hospitalist and midwives are coverage/backup on nights and weekends. It is an approximate 50:50 ratio of OB to GYN split of patient panel.

• Call schedule - 1:5 week & 1:5 Weekend rotating between midwife time.
• Shifts are 8:00 am 4:00pm and 4:00 PM -8:00am (weekdays) and 24-48 coverage on
• Outpatient practice setting
• Patient Rounding responsibilities
• Telemedicine visits are offered in clinic
• Patient volume: 20-30 patients per day
• Midwife will perform IUD insertion and removal, Nexplanon insertion and removal

Our practice is located on the beautiful St. Mary’s hospital campus. The campus is in close proximity to Willow lawn that offers shopping and dining. The office is located appropriately 5 min from interstate 64 and 95. Surrounding the hospital are 1950's established neighborhoods with lots of safe spaces to walk or enjoy lunch outside. Richmond offers some of the top-rated private schools in the country and has several public schools with high ratings in close proximity to the hospital.
