🩺 The Role: Full-Time Hospitalist APP/APRN

Located at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center, this isn’t a typical hospitalist APP role — for now, responsibilities focus on performing H&Ps and responding to nursing concerns or patient issues under physician direction. Direct patient management is limited by hospital policy, but we’re actively working to expand APP privileges over the next 6–8 months.

If you’re a collaborative, solutions-focused clinician, this is a chance to help shape how APPs contribute to inpatient care.

What You’ll Do:

• Care for a range of adult medical inpatients (no peds, no procedures
• Collaborate with a tight-knit team of nurses, APPs, and hospital specialists
• Maintain thorough documentation and support quality initiatives

🧠 The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has at least 1 year of experience as an inpatient/hospitalist APP/APRN
• ACLS/BLS Certified
• Committed to living in or near Cheyenne and growing with the team
• Professional, reliable, and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Has experience working as a hospitalist within the last 12 months

💵 Pay & Benefits

We’re proud to offer clear, fair, and transparent compensation:

Hourly Pay

• Full Time: $76/hr. (120 hours per month)
• Day shift: 7am to 7pm
• Night shift: 7pm to 7am

Scheduling

• 5 Physicians on during the day shift + 1 APP
• 1 Physician on during the night shift + 1 APP
• Block scheduling available
• Extra shifts always optional — never required

Sign-On Bonus – Limited Time Offer (Now through February 28, 2026)

Full Time W2 –: $10,000 standard bonus + $10,000 fast-start bonus (up to $20,000)

Fast-start bonuses apply to candidates able to begin work between now and February 28, 2026.

🏥 The Hospital: Cheyenne Regional Medical Center

Patient Volume: 60 to 100 per day total divided among physicians

• APPs assist primarily with H&Ps and support communication between nursing and the physician team
• Some physicians may involve APPs more directly in care depending on comfort and case complexity
• Night shift: Physicians handle admits and cross-coverage; APPs assist with documentation and clinical updates as needed (ER manages code)
• EMR System: EPIC
• Level 3 Trauma Center
• 222 bed hospital capacity
• Open ICU - physician-managed; APP procedural involvement currently limited)

• No Locums. We are building a long-term team.
• No 1099. This is a W-2 employed role only.
• No Visa Sponsorship. We are unable to support visa applications.
