The LtCol Luke Weathers, Jr VA Medical Center (Memphis VA) has an opening for an on-site Neuropsychologist. The position is assigned to the Mental Healthcare Line within the Mental Health Clinic. The assigned Neuropsychologist may be called based on demand for service or to deliver service at either main campus or outlying Community-Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs). The Memphis VA is part of the world’s largest healthcare networks and consists of one main campus and ten Community-Based Outpatient Clinics. It’s a 1a-complexity tertiary care facility and is in one of the fastest-growing veteran populated regions in the United States. The facility provides comprehensive care to over 47,000 veterans in a 52-county area of Western Tennessee, Northern Mississippi, and Northeast Arkansas. It includes 236 inpatient beds with a 26-bed Spinal Cord Injury Unit. It is a teaching hospital, providing a full range of patient care services, with state-of-the-art technology, as well as extensive education and research programs.
