SUMMARY: The Primary Care Physician provides comprehensive, high-quality care as part of NEOMED’s interprofessional academic health team. This role supports the clinical mission of NEOMED Clinical Services, contributes to educational activities, and helps advance integrated primary care for the community.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Patient Care: Deliver evidence-based, compassionate primary care across the lifespan. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure seamless, patient-centered care. Maintain accurate documentation using the electronic medical record (EMR). Promote health equity, cultural competence, and shared decision-making.
Other Duties: Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
- Current, unrestricted Ohio medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Active DEA registration
- Commitment to interdisciplinary care, medical education, and community health
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and other office and clinical equipment.
