Cover orthopedic evening / night call from 4 PM to 7 AM at level 1 trauma center.
Approximately 180 weekday and weekend shifts / year. Flexible scheduling options to include: two weeks on / two weeks off, one week on/one week off, or other agreed upon coverage model.
Supported by four fellowship trained orthopedic trauma surgeons, with 7 days/week who have dedicated day and evening trauma rooms.
Supported by 14 subspecialty trained orthopedic surgeons in orthopedic oncology, hand, foot and ankle, shoulder, adult reconstruction and ortho pediatric surgery.
Call is supported by APP group who take call 24/7 and answer in-house calls and outside patient calls.
No Spine!Spine calls are covered by neurosurgery.
No office / clinic responsibility.
No hospital rounding required.
No requirement to respond to hospital codes.
Call can be taken from home.
Expectation to see orthopedic admissions and high energy trauma patients per the discretion of the general surgery trauma team who are in-house 24/7.
Hip fractures admitted by the hospitalist team.
Anticipated case volume 0-2 cases / shift.

COMPENSATION:
$622,000.Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation.
