ECU Health Physicians and Outer Banks Health Gastroenterology, in partnership with the Outer Banks Health Medical Group, are seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to start a new practice located in Nags Head, North Carolina. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Opportunity Highlights Include:

  •   Opportunity due to expansion of services due to an increased need for access to GI care in The Outer Banks
  •   Ambulatory and inpatient responsibilities
  •   Unique opportunity to start a new practice with full practice support provided by the largest health system in eastern North Carolina
  •   Built-in referral network from Outer Banks Health primary care and general surgery practices
  •   Clinic will be located within the Outer Banks Hospital
  • Procedures will include colonoscopies, EGDs and related procedures
  •   Monday-Friday 8a-5p schedule will include seeing patients in an outpatient clinic as well as 1-2 procedure days per week
  •   Schedule includes 36 patient contact hours per week with the option of a 4 day work week

The Outer Banks Health Hospital  

The Outer Banks Health Hospital is a full-service critical access hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. The hospital is designed to meet the needs of the coastal community, whose year-round population of approximately 35,000 swells to about 350,000 in the summer season. The hospital's 21-bed emergency department serves approximately 23,100 patients each year.
