CHI St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock, AR is seeking a highly motivated and adaptable Intensivist/Hospitalist Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing team. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in both critical care and hospital medicine.

About the Role:

As an Intensivist/Hospitalist Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care to patients across various settings within the hospital. This position offers the flexibility to choose daytime or overnight 12-hour shifts, working any 3 days per week.

Shift Responsibilities:

  • Daytime Shift:
    • Primarily focused on patient admissions.
    • Taking and transferring calls.
    • Processing patients from surrounding Little Rock metro communities.
    • Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient transitions.
  • Night Shift:
    • Working alongside a nocturnist in a hands-on role.
    • Taking all floor calls.
    • Providing bedside care to patients in the ICU.
    • Managing a wide range of medical conditions.

Schedule:

  • Flexible scheduling: Choose any 3 days per week.
  • 12-hour shifts: Daytime or Overnight options available.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current and valid Arkansas PA license (or eligible to obtain).
  • National certification as a Physician Assistant (NCCPA).
  • DEA license (or eligible to obtain).
  • Experience in acute care setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
