We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our inpatient & outpatientCardiology teamat Ball Memorial Hospital! The candidate will work under the supervision of the cardiology physician to assist with his day-to-day operations for his structural heart program. The candidate will work directly with the supervising cardiology physician as a ration 1:1.
Position Details:
- Full-Time, Day Shift
- Mon- Fri 8a-5p
- Required weekend shift every 8-9 weeks
- This is a structural Heart APP position
- APP responsible for 1 week post TAVR follow ups, 1 week post MitraClip follow ups, as well as any other additional office work assigned by supervising cardiology physician (including non-structural work)
- Responsible for any inpatient structural work, evaluate new consults, scheduling procedures, caths, and any additional Cath lab duties the supervising cardiologist sees fit.
Qualifications:
- ACNP, AGNP, FNP certification required
- 3+ years of APP experience preferred - if new grad, must have strong knowledge of cardiac protocols and worked previously in a CIC or CathLab
- Cardiac experience in inpatient rounding as well as understanding of cardiac management of clinic patients, experience supervising stress testing, CIC ACLS, and BLS certified.
- 50% Inpatient, 50% Outpatient
