UPMC Central Pennsylvania is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Hepatologist to join our growing team of specialists dedicated to liver health. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice advanced hepatology in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with access to cutting-edge diagnostics and treatment options.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with liver diseases, including hepatitis, cirrhosis, fatty liver disease, and autoimmune liver conditions
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists, transplant teams, and other specialists across the UPMC network
- Participate in clinical research, education, and quality improvement initiatives
- Engage in multidisciplinary case reviews and contribute to service line development
- Optional academic appointment through UPMC’s affiliated medical schools
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology with fellowship training in Hepatology preferred
- Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
