Job Title: Podiatrist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Podiatrist. They will diagnose, treat, and help prevent conditions affecting the feet, ankles, and related structures of the lower legs. This role requires clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a patient-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine patients’ feet and lower legs to identify issues such as deformities, infections, or injuries
- Diagnose conditions including bunions, heel spurs, ingrown toenails, fractures, and arthritis
- Develop and implement treatment plans, which may include medication, orthotics, physical therapy, or surgery
- Perform surgical procedures when necessary (e.g., removal of ingrown toenails or skin lesions)
- Educate patients on proper foot care, hygiene, and injury prevention
- Collaborate with primary care physicians, orthopedists, and other specialists as needed
- The role may involve on-call responsibilities and the performance of surgical procedures.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited college of podiatric medicine
- Board certified or board eligible in American Board of Podiatric Medicine (ABPM) and American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS)
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and surgical skills
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in wound care or diabetic foot management
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in outpatient clinic or hospital setting.
- On call may be required. Surgeries are required to perform
