Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine team. In this role, the APP will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with a supervising physician. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive physical examinations, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing appropriate treatments, and guiding patients toward improved health outcomes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach to care. Key Responsibilities: - This is full-time, Monday through Friday, no weekends, no call, in-person based in our outpatient office in Wyomissing, PA.
- Perform comprehensive physical assessments and patient histories.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic illnesses in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments according to state and federal guidelines.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
- Assist in minor procedures and/or surgical interventions, if applicable to the specialty.
- Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, specialists, and other healthcare providers.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
Qualifications: - Education: Master’s degree or higher in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
- Licensure: Current and unrestricted state license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Certification: National certification (e.g., AANP, ANCC, NCCPA).
- Experience: 1 in a clinical setting; experience in pulmonary or sleep is a plus.
- BLS/ACLS Certification: Required or willingness to obtain.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in EMR systems.
