Position highlights:

  • Patient Care:  Blend of outpatient and inpatient Infectious Disease focusing on antibiotic therapy, antimicrobial stewardship and infection prevention.  Limited, dedicated weeks of inpatient service consulting on an average census of 10 patients.   
  • Regular Hours: Monday-Friday work week for outpatient, typical hours 8:00am-4:30pm, 7:00am-3:30pm or 7:30am-4:00pm. 
  • Clinical Support: Robust clinical support with all specialties on board to care for Veterans, including Interventional Radiology. Along with robust staff support for a team-based approach to patient care.
  • Teaching Opportunities: Engage in teaching, helping to shape the future of medicine by mentoring medical students, residents and fellows. Opportunity for academic appointment.

  • Loan Repayment Program: Qualified candidates may be eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (up to $200K over a 5-year period).

Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited Infectious Disease fellowship
  • BE/BC Infectious Disease
  • Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.
