Dallas
Requirements:
- MD or DO candidates
- General Surgery residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program
- Fellowship completion in Surgical Critical Care or Trauma required from an accredited program featuring certification in Critical Care
- Board certified or board eligible in surgical critical care from the American Board of Surgery required
- Active Texas license required
- Seeking a candidate who can start immediately.
Position Details:
- Employed position with Texas Health Surgical Specialists by Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG), including attractive compensation and benefits package
- Join this large, successful, and long-standing practice of physicians and Advance Practice Providers.
- Schedule to include trauma surgery coverage; on average, each trauma surgeon works approximately 23 shifts per month covering: ACS – General, ICU, Trauma Day, Backup/ICU Home Call, Trauma Night.
- Office on the campus of Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, a Level 1 Trauma center with a comprehensive stroke center.
Fort Worth (Burn)
Requirements:
- MD or DO candidates
- General Surgery Residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program
- Fellowship in Burn/Surgical Critical Care completion required from an accredited program featuring certification in Critical Care
- Board certified candidate required
- Texas license required
- Seeking a practicing candidate who is ready to start immediately
About the position:
- Employed position by Texas Health Physicians Group, including competitive salary and benefits.
- Practice on the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth campus, a Level I Trauma hospital.
- This is a hybrid position including limited trauma/ACS shifts each month in addition to Burn.
- Compensation is wRVU + trauma shift rate + call.
Fort Worth (Trauma + General)
Requirements:
- MD or DO candidates
- General Surgery Residency completion required from an accredited ACGME program
- Fellowship in Surgical Critical Care or Trauma completion required from an accredited program featuring certification in Critical Care
- Board certified candidate required
- Texas license required
- Seeking a practicing candidate who is ready to start June 2025
About the position:
- Employed position by Texas Health Physicians Group, including competitive salary and benefits.
- Practice on the Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth campus, a Level I Trauma hospital.
- The trauma service will cover both day and night shifts, 365 for this high volume and high acuity hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. Typical expectation is for 180 shifts per year (15 per month).
- Compensation is shift-based, therefore more shifts taken results in greater compensation.
