Job Description

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a full-time mammographer for the clinician-educator or clinical practice academic tracks.

 

Position Summary:

  1. Section comprised of 10 fellowship-trained faculty
  2. Services provided to Vanderbilt Breast Center and five outpatient centers
  3. Teach medical students, residents, and fellows
  4. Focus on well-being, with a culture of collegiality, collaboration, & creativity
  5. Opportunity to develop and grow professional interests
  6. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with experience
  7. Average commute is 20-30 minutes


Position Requirements:

  1. Fellowship training in breast imaging
  2. Hold an MD or equivalent degree
  3. ABR eligible/certified
  4. Eligible for TN license
  5. Comfortable with interpretation of mammograms, breast and axillary US, Breast MRI, interventional breast procedures
  6. Participate in multidisciplinary conferences
