Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking to employ a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join the growing team at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey. This is an excellent opportunity to become a member of our expanding network. The position includes both clinical, academic and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills and strong communication with a commitment to outstanding patient care, teaching, and research. RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide clinical care for primarily outpatients in the subspecialty of endocrinology at the newest satellite office in Freehold NJ with some clinical time at the Endocrinology, Diabetes Clinics, and inpatient service at JSUMC. Teach, precept, and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in various settings, including clinical rotations, and case management discussions. Participate in departmental and hospital-wide performance improvement initiatives. Assist the Section Chief in ensuring adequate physician staffing and coverage. Eligibility for faculty appointment to the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. REQUIREMENTS: M.D./D.O. degree from a recognized Medical or Osteopathic School Board certified/eligible in endocrinology NJ Medical License, CDS and DEA COMPENSATION: Starting Base Salary: $208,203 HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members. Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies. Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location. Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the specialty and/or sub-specialty. Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.
