Pediatric Hospitalist Job Summary

Beacon’s Pediatric Hospitalists deliver expert, compassionate care for hospitalized infants born at 32 weeks or later, addressing a range of medical concerns including infections, respiratory distress, hypoglycemia, and other complications. Our team is also equipped to provide immediate stabilization for infants born before 32 weeks, ensuring safe and timely transfer to a neonatal intensive care unit for specialized treatment.

You can look forward to utilizing our EMR System, Cerner, a comprehensive health record system that offers a suit of solution integrating clinical, operational, and financial tools.

Work Schedule:

  1. 24 hour shifts with dedicated Special Care Nursery RNs with NRP and STABLE certifications.

Teaching Opportunities:

Affiliation with the WMED School of Medicine Family Medicine Residency allows for teaching of residents, medical students and supervision of post-graduate trainees if working in the Kalamazoo location.
