Premier Physician Network (PPN) and Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine (BSOM) are seeking a full-time faculty physician specializing in Infectious Disease. As a faculty member, you will play an integral role in educating and training medical students, residents, and fellows, while providing care to a diverse patient population at Miami Valley Hospital, a full-service acute care hospital located in Dayton, Ohio.

Job Description
- Opportunity for acute care infectious disease consult service with some outpatient requirements
- APP collaboration
- Antibiotic Stewardship Center of Excellence through IDSA
- Clinical teaching, supervision, and patient care on the division’s services, including a combination of contributions to the inpatient teaching service, Miami Valley Infection Specialists clinics; working with a large outpatient HIV population and other infectious diseases.
- Opportunity to participate in didactic teaching, journal clubs, clinical conferences, and other teaching assignments for residents and medical students, as assigned by and in collaboration with the department and BSOM’s academic leadership.
- Contributing to the division’s clinical/patient care, research, and teaching missions.
Job Requirements
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident Status
- MD, DO or MBBS degree.
- Completed Internal Medicine residency.
- Completed or currently enrolled in Infectious Disease fellowship
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease
- Ohio Medical License
- Federally issued DEA License
