Position: Chief Psychiatrist
Monogram Health is seeking a full-time physician, specialized in psychiatry, to join the team due to rapid nationwide opportunities to treat members with polychronic conditions including CHF, CKD, DM and COPD. This position will be responsible for clinical aspects of the psychiatry program including quality improvement, education, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals with life-limiting illnesses, while collaborating with other health care providers to coordinate comprehensive care plans and advocate for patients and their families, while working closely with operations leaders for clinical input to program development. This physician also provides consultation to patients with polychronic conditions appropriate for conservative care and symptom management and engagement with patients who have multiple complex co-morbidities. They are responsible for clinical leadership, developing mental health policies, and ensuring regulatory compliance. They also may be involved in complex case consultation, training, and research.
Monogram physicians are quality-driven physicians who apply their clinical expertise in a managed care, population health context. They also engage in population health management in a sophisticated, outcomes-driven manner that promotes psychiatric care where clinically appropriate and focuses on patient education, autonomy, and quality of life. The Chief of Psychiatric Care should be experienced in treating patients to reduce or help prevent mental health disorders and in driving discussions about goals of care, prognosis, treatment options, and advanced care planning.
This Monogram physician may work remotely from home. As part of working at Monogram’s national practice, they will be licensed in multiple states after joining the company. Monogram physicians work on an employed basis, full time, five days per week.
