Job Description:
The Department of Pathology at the University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC) is seeking a full-time, tenure track, academic anatomic/clinical pathologist and cytopathologist OR renal surgical pathologist. UTMC is a tertiary care center that supports UT College of Medicine programs for medical students, graduate students, and residents in a wide variety of programs.
The Department of Pathology has training programs for AP/CP residents, for pathologists' assistants, and for laboratory technicians. The successful candidate will share primary clinical responsibilities at UTMC with eight other pathologists. Teaching residents and medical students is a critical part of this position, and the successful applicant must have exemplary teaching skills. Excellent opportunities are available for independent or collaborative research, and the candidate is expected to develop a strong publication resume.
