Opportunity Details
- Position Type:Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
- Schedule:1820 hours (83 scheduled shifts or equivalent) annually
- 68 25-hour shifts to cover both Grand Rapids NICU & Muskegon Special Care Unit.
- 15 8-hour shifts are scheduled Monday-Friday for Grand Rapids NICU providing direct and indirect patient care.
- Location:Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan
- Specialty:Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with neonatology fellowship training
- Hospital Info:Grand Rapids: 15-bed NICU Level III, Muskegon: 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery
- Call Requirements: No Call Required for APPs

Requirements
- Relevant clinical experience preferred
- APPs:Board certified in specialty prior to employment
- Active Michigan medical license
- DEA license
- ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in teaching and mentoring
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health efforts
