Hematologist Oncologist – Locum to Perm Opportunity
Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital | Grand Rapids, MI

Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital is seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Hematologist Oncologist for a Locum to Permanent role. This opportunity begins around October 1, 2025 and offers a balanced outpatient and inpatient practice model within a thriving cancer center.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Outpatient clinic)

• Call: Shared 1:5 call pool, supported by experienced APPs; after-hours coverage 5:00 PM–7:00 AM

• Practice Setting: Inpatient consult service, outpatient clinic, and infusion center. The Cancer Center is hospital-attached.

• Focus: Primarily hematology-focused patient load.

• Team: 6 Hem/Onc physicians, radiation oncologists on site, 5 inpatient and 6 outpatient APPs.

Patient Volume:

• Inpatient: 10–15 patients/day (call/rounding)

• Outpatient: 15 patients/day (clinic)

Clinical Areas & Duties:

• Adult and geriatric patient populations

• Required procedures: FNA/Biopsy

• Required duties: Tumor Board participation, ordering tests/imaging, prescribing treatment

• Credentialing: Approx. 90–120 days
