Practice in the Heart of the Community Flexible Scheduling:
- This role is designed for night shifts, offering a flexible schedule to accommodate personal and professional needs.
- Our team values work-life balance, covering for one another when necessary to ensure time off for family and outdoor activities.
- Typical scheduling models include a week-on/week-off structure, providing consistency and flexibility for night-shift physicians.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on managing complex cases in an open ICU setting with intensivist coverage, without the expectation to perform procedures or run codes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including hospitalist APPs who independently manage pre-op patients in a clinic setting, supported by supervising physicians and staff.
- Teach and mentor medical and APP students from nearby universities and programs on occasion. Opportunities to support international physicians with observerships may also be available for those interested in education.
- Participate in morning meetings two to three times per week to discuss practice updates and meet monthly with the regional team to review performance and address practice issues.
- No procedures are required.
