We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner orPhysician Assistantto join our Cardiology/Heart Failure Team at Methodist Hospital!
Position Details:
- Full-time, DayShift
- 4 10-hour shifts per week
- Rotating every 4thweekend and also rotating holidays
- No call
- 50% outpatient, 50% inpatient
- Join a large, established group of 50 physicians and 27 APPs
Key Responsibilities:
- This position will include 50% outpatient clinic and 50% inpatient heart failure management including initiation of guideline directed medical therapy, inpatient heart failure consults as well as outpatient follow up appointments in clinic and patient education for heart failure patients.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree Required
- ACNP, AGNP, FNP, or PA certifications required
- Cardiology APP experience highly preferred
- Open to motivated new graduates
- If new graduate, must have ICU/PCU nursing experience orextensive ICU or cardiology experience during clinical rotations.
- Our ideal candidate must have excellent critical thinking skills, be able to multi-task in a high intensity setting and also have excellent communication skills.
