Job Description

Gould Medical Group is looking for a BE/BC Hospitalist physician in Modesto, CA.

Gould Medical Group is a growing, 450+ clinician multi-specialty group located about two hours east of San Francisco, California. Our communities offer quick access to the bay area as well as other hot spots such as Napa Valley, Yosemite, and Lake Tahoe.


Position Details:

  1. Starting base salary: $328,391
  2. Sign-on bonus
  3. Hospital: Memorial Medical Center, 423-bed, Level 2 trauma
  4. 7 days on/7days off schedule
  5. 182 shifts per year
  6. Board eligibility required for new graduate
  7. Board certification required after two years of being an attending physician
  8. Robust back-up system for emergencies
  9. Dedicated non-hospitalist response team for code blue
  10. No procedures required
  11. Full intensivist back up
  12. Large hospitalist group of 45+ physicians
  13. GME activity is required (didactic and supervisory tasks)
  14. Stable and growing group
  15. EHR: Epic
