Physiatrist Job at Defense Health Agency Medical Civilian Corps in New York

- Perform a wide range of complex PTA duties requiring an advanced practical knowledge of physical therapy. - Implement and design prescribed physical therapy progressive treatment plans with patients for orthopedic conditions in the inpatient and outpatient settings. - Instruct and review all home program precautions with patients and family members. - Administer diverse physical therapy programs utilizing various therapeutic interventions, such as thermotherapy, electrotherapy, mechanical traction, and/or gait training, mobility/transfers, group education exercise. - Provide updated status in patient progress reports to attending Physical Therapists. - Perform other duties as assigned.
