The VA Eastern Oklahoma Healthcare System (EOVAHCS) is actively recruiting for a Certified Nurse Anesthetist to help care for our Veterans – American’s Heroes. We have opportunities for involvement with the education and teaching of residents, medical students, and other providers. EOVAHCS consists of two ambulatory care centers, a tertiary care facility, and 8 community-based outpatient clinics. EOVAHCS serves Veterans residing in multiple counties throughout the Eastern Oklahoma region. There are 55,000 Veterans in the EOVAHCS service area. The Certified Nurse Anesthetist will support the new hospital currently under construction, named James Mountain Inhofe VA Medical Center, in Tulsa, OK, in 2026. Highlights of this position include:

Competitive Starting Salary $178,000 - $259,055

Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, Full-time

  Occasional travel - Travel will be required between Tulsa and Muskogee facilities for this position.

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist provides direct patient care under the Anesthesiologist and/or the Surgery Service Chief. The incumbent is a licensed independent practitioner responsible for the anesthetic management of patients to be rendered unconscious or insensitive to pain and emotional stress during surgical, dental, and certain medical procedures, including perioperative, intraoperative, and postoperative monitoring, evaluation, and treatment.

CRNAs perform their own regional pain block, spinals, arterial lines, and central venous catheters.

• Must possess current, active, and unrestricted Licensure
• Must possess current and active AANA Certification as a CRNA
