Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) invites Physician Assistants (PA-C) to apply for a full-time inpatient Urology and General/Multi Surgery Physician Assistant opportunity at Manchester Memorial Hospital, a highly regarded community hospital located in the heart of Manchester, Connecticut. The department is currently supported by two advanced practice providers, increasing to three due to increased volume, featuring no current call requirement, with shifts rotating every third Saturday. As a valued member of ECHN's hospital-employed team, you will provide inpatient medical management for general/multi-surgery and urological patients. Your responsibilities include conducting evaluations, performing inpatient consultations, rounding on inpatients, managing pre-and post-operative care, and first assisting in surgeries, including robotic cases. About Eastern Connecticut Health Network:

Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) is a distinguished community healthcare system that comprises two reputable acute-care hospitals: Manchester Memorial Hospital and Rockville General Hospital. The network offers robotic surgery, including the MAKO robotic-assisted knee-hip replacement system, and the Xi da Vinci Robot. Requirements:

 

  1. Graduate advanced degree of an accredited Advanced Physician Assistant (PA-C) program with preference for 1 or more years of General/Multi-surgery/and/or Urology experience or related training experience
  2. Connecticut license, Federal DEA, and Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) or soon eligible
