This is an active-duty role for a General Surgeon to become a Medical Corps Officer in the Navy.

Location: Full-Time in person position. Not a remote or telemedicine position. Nationwide.

Specialty: General Surgery

Annual Compensation: $322,000 to $352,000

Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive surgical care to service members, diagnosing, treating, and performing surgery on a wide range of conditions, from traumatic injuries to complex surgical issues. You will be responsible for performing routine and emergency procedures, managing preoperative and postoperative care, and coordinating with specialists when needed. Your expertise will ensure the health, well-being, and operational readiness of service members, as well as contributing to their long-term recovery and quality of life.

Minimum Qualifications:

• MD or DO from an accredited school
• BC/BE
• U.S. Citizenship
