Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Hematology/Bone Marrow Transplant (Simon Cancer Center and University Hospital)

Job Description

We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner orPhysician Assistantto join our Bone Marrow Transplantteam in Indianapolis!

Position Details:

  • Full-time, Day Shift
    • Rotating day hours, Monday-Sunday
    • Guaranteed weekday off
    • No call
  • 80% inpatient / 20% outpatient
  • Adult bone marrow transplant and post bone marrow transplant patients
  • 10 patients/day in hospital, 10/week in clinic
  • Team includes 3 physicians and 5 APPs
  • Practice locations include Simon Cancer Center and University Hospital

Key Responsibilities:

  • See patients both as a team and independently managing patients that are undergoing bone marrow transplants and immediately after.
  • Perform procedures including bone marrow biopsies and skin biopsies.

Qualifications:

  • ACNP, AGNP, FNPor PA certifications required
  • Experience in BMT or Hematology/Oncology strongly preferred
