Job Description

Ascension Seton is seeking an exceptional OB/GYN to join our central academic team of Women's Health providers. Join us now in anticipation of our beautiful tower dedicated to supporting comprehensive women's health opening in the spring of 2026. As the clinical partner of the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin, you will help to train our women's health providers of the future! It's an exciting time to join this incredible team!

Position Highlights:

  • Full scope of obstetrics and gynecology services; includes both inpatient and outpatient services
  • Academic department offers a full range of specialties including OBGYN, MFM, Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, Gyn Oncology, Reproductive Endocrinology, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery, Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology
  • Participate in education and training of future healthcare leaders as the clinical partner for Dell Medical School at the University of Texas at Austin
  • Develop research programs to evaluate new care paradigms

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. 
  • Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost-effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.
  • Participates in academic programs (e.g. medical education and research) as requested.
  • Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.

The Dell Medical School accepted its first class of 50 students in 2016, with the explicit aim of creating a vital, inclusive health ecosystem. As part of The University of Texas at Austin, one of the nation’s leading research universities, the Dell Medical School will pursue innovation in the redesign of healthcare delivery, excellence in healthcare research, and programs in interdisciplinary and interprofessional education. Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Required Credential(s):
Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Texas Medical Board.

Education:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
