Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Clinical and Administrative:
• Exercises direct supervisory responsibility for the Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) physicians, and advanced practice providers (APP).
• Reports quality care of issues promptly through established mechanisms.
• Acts as a collaborating Physician with APP
• Provision of extended clinic and Saturday clinic hours about once per quarter.
• Communication:
• Meets with the Associate Chief of Primary Care and the Chief of Staff as necessary to ensure that the goals and objectives of the Veterans Affairs Medical Center are met.
• Communicate with other healthcare providers, as necessary, to ensure the timely access and continuity of care.
• Education/Training:
• Participates in the education/training of personnel as requested.
• Completes required VA education and annual training in a timely fashion.
• Mentors new providers as appropriate.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 50-55 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm
