The CRNA administers the full spectrum of anesthesia including inhalation, intravenous, and regional anesthetics. The CRNA performs and documents a preanesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient, including requesting consultations and diagnostic studies; selecting, obtaining, ordering, or administering preanesthetic medications and fluids; and obtaining informed consent for anesthesia. In addition, the CRNA will select and implement the appropriate anesthesia plan and document accordingly. The CRNA may function independently or in a medically directed team model with an anesthesiologist.

Starting Pay - $128.51/Hour
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing
- Graduate from an approved school of nurse anesthesia
- Certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Current Minnesota State Nursing License
- Current Minnesota State Advanced Practice Nursing License
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required; NRP preferred (PRN CRNAs exempt from NRP)
Job Responsibilities:
- Administers anesthetics for surgical, obstetrical, medical, and dental procedures
- Maintains the patient in the desired anesthetic state by adjusting anesthetic as necessary
- Records the patient’s vital signs and watches for significant changes
- Administers CPR and airway maintenance in areas other than the OR
- Maintains a safe physical environment for patients and employees
- Other duties as assigned.
