Hospitalist Job at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN

We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner orPhysician Assistantto join our Hospitalistteam at Methodist Hospital and University Hosptial!This position will focus on Preoperative Medicine at our Adult Academic Health Center.

Position Details:

• Full-time, day Shift
  • 4 10's a week
  • Monday-Friday (Tuesdays off)
• No weekends, holidays or call
• 100% inpatient
• Complex adult patient population: Complex patient population in two downtown clinics; preoperative evaluation and medical co-management with patients undergoing orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, urology, peripheral vascular surgery, general surgery, GYN, hepatobiliary surgery, ENT, etc
• 25-28 admissions / week
• Team includes 5+ physicians and 7+ APPs

Qualifications:

• ACNP, AGNP, FNPor PA certifications required
• If new graduate NP, RN inpatient PCU/critical care experience required
• If new graduate PA, hospital medicine clinical rotation required
• 1-2 years of APP experience highly preferred
