- Clinical base hourly pay range for this position: $60.39-$68.10. This is a salaried position.

OverviewThe Children’s Hospital of Illinois Pediatric Otolaryngology is seeking a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our team.
Job Specifics:
- Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioneror Physician Assistant to fulfill the Advanced Practice Provider Pediatric ENT opportunity at the Children’s Hospital of Illinois located in Peoria, Illinois.
- Close collaboration with our Pediatric Otolaryngologists and PAs within the hospital, clinic and OR settings.
- Travel to CHOI outreach clinics and participation in multidisciplinary clinics will be required.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in ENT or a willingness to learn the subspecialty.
- No evening call.
- No weekends.
Position Summary:
- According to professional standards of care, performs a variety of advanced nursing / physician assistant functions.
- Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications:
- The candidate must maintain state license as an APN/PA in the state of Illinois and professional certifications (APLS, ENPC, or PALS).
- Certification as an acute care specialty nurse practitioner or physician assistant through a nationally recognized certifying body is required.
- For APNs, surgical assist certification will be required after completion of training program
