Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate pulmonary and critical care trained physician who is specialized in pulmonary hypertension whowill lead our nationally recognized multidisciplinary pulmonary vascular disease program.The program offers the entire diagnostic and therapeutic spectrum for all types of PH. Additionally, we offer therapies beyond medical care including extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) as well as heart and lung transplantation. Our program participates in numerous NIH and industry sponsored clinical trials. Clinical and research operations are complemented by one of the largest pulmonary vascular biology research groups in the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead clinical care, clinical research, and quality improvement initiatives related to pulmonary hypertension.
  • Diagnose and treat patients with pulmonary hypertension and other complex pulmonary conditions in inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Provide comprehensive pulmonary consultative and critical care services.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment options and care plans.
  • Practice split between outpatient in pulmonary hypertension clinic and inpatient in ICU
  • Practice location: IU Health Methodist Hospital
  • Academic appointment at IUSOM with teaching opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Must be BC/BE in Pulmonary and Critical Care and BC in Internal Medicine

Compensation:

  • Strong compensation includes base salary and CME
