Job Description

Yuba Pulmonary Associates (YPA) is a physician-led group and is actively seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care Intensivist to join an established private practice in North California. YPA is a growing practice and principal provider of interdisciplinary critical care services in the Marysville-Yuba City area. Our independent, private practice group wishes to expand to meet the growing demands in the region. The schedule for this full-time opportunity is a rotation of ICU days, nights, and opportunity for pulmonary clinic if desirable in the future.

  • 100% inpatient

  • 14-15 shifts per month

  • 80% critical care and 20% pulmonary. Opportunity to do more pulmonary if interested

  • Join a busy and established Pulm/CC Private Practice

  • No call

  • 24 ICU beds and 12 Intermediate Care Unit beds

  • Mid-Level support during the day

Candidate Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree required.

  • BE/BC

  • DEA required

  • California licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in the State of California

Compensation:

Yuba Pulmonary Associates offers a competitive compensation and comprehensive benefit package that includes retirement plan, malpractice insurance , CME allowance, medical, dental and vision coverage. $406,700 - $508,375 . The wages are determined based upon several factors including, but not limited to, an employee’s qualifications, experience, and personal productivity.

Hospital:

Adventist Health and Rideout (AHRO) is a nonprofit community-based system comprised of the Adventist Health and Rideout acute care hospital; the Heart Center at Rideout; the Cancer Center affiliated with UC Davis Medical Center; outpatient clinics and a host of ancillary services including: senior living services located throughout Yuba and Sutter counties. AHRO is a 160-bed acute care hospital offering comprehensive, quality healthcare in a convenient, compassionate and cost-effective manner. Adventist Health and Rideout employs more than 2,100 employees and has approximately 300 physicians on the medical staff. The Emergency Department is a Level III Trauma Center and has a helipad for Life Flight operations. The ED was expanded to 32 total beds. This expansion allows the ED to serve the needs of a growing community, handling nearly 75,000 visits yearly. AHRO has a 12-bed Med/Surg ICU, a 12-bed cardiac ICU with 1100–1200 admissions annually, and a 12-bed Intermediate care unit where critical care services are delivered.
