St. Mary’s Healthcare is actively seeking a Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon to join our well-established and expanding Orthopedic Surgery team in Amsterdam, NY. As part of our comprehensive surgical department, you’ll collaborate with a skilled team of orthopedic surgeons, podiatrists, physical therapists, and primary care providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered musculoskeletal care. Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat a full spectrum of foot and ankle conditions, including fractures, arthritis, deformities, tendon injuries, and sports-related injuries.
  • Perform both minimally invasive and complex reconstructive surgeries to restore function and mobility.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic imaging and treatment technologies to develop individualized patient care plans.
  • Work collaboratively with physical therapists, podiatrists, and other orthopedic specialists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment options, rehabilitation protocols, and preventive care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with healthcare and surgical best practices.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical research as applicable.

Qualifications:

  • Required Credentials - Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of New York
  • Preferred Credentials -  Robotics experience preferred
  • Education -  Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base Salary Range - $451,384 - $626,676 (Offer rates based on experience)
