Job Description

Community Health Care Systems is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) to join our team. As a vital member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population in an underserved community. Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care services.
  • Diagnose and treat acute, chronic, and complex health conditions.
  • Perform routine physical examinations and preventive care.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related field.
  • Valid state medical license and DEA certification.
  • Previous experience in a primary care setting, preferably in a community health center or FQHC.
  • Strong commitment to serving underserved populations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
